Mortal Kombat Legacy II is out! Watch it here!
Here is folks! Machinima released the entire season of the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat: Legacy II which you can watch above. I can’t believe how excited I am. This reboot is far superior to the original movies (although I’m a big fan of them). What especially made me happy? Seeing Cary Tagawa reprise his role as Shang Tsung! Can you say excited fanboy?
Kevin Tancharoen, who brought you season 1 of Mortal Kombat: Legacy (watch them here), returns as director and co-writer along with Josh Baizer and Marshall Johnson, and we couldn’t be happier. His first season was such an original take on the origin stories, and he continues that original story telling in season 2 with stories for Kenshi, Lui Kang, Ermac, Kuai Lang, Johnny Cage, Shang Tsung, and Stryker while continuing the stories for Scorpion/Sub-Zero, Raiden, Milena and Kitana.
In this season we learn more about the clashes between Scorpion and Sub-Zero’s clans, the relationship between Milena and Kitana, Kenshi and Ermac as their histories are interwoven with the main story of Raiden and Shang Tsung gathering their warriors in Outworld for the tournament.
This season’s cast includes Harry Shum, Jr. (Glee) as Kuai Liang, Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers) as Johnny Cage, Brian Tee (The Wolverine) as Liu Kang, Mark Dacascos (Cradle 2 the Grave) as Kung Lao and Ian Anthony Dale (Hawaii Five-O) as Scorpion. Full cast available here.
