BACK IN PINK! GO! GO! AMY JO JOHNSON!

Amy Jo Johnson from hit TV shows as Felicity, Flashpoint, and of course Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, launched an Indiegogo Campaign to help raise money for her first written and directorial debut feature film; “The Space Between”

When a proud new father learns his wife took his infertility into her own hands with a 19-year old ginger, he sets out on a hilarious and heartfelt journey to find the biological baby-daddy! Filled with a hilarious and moving cast of supporting characters. The space between is a film about acceptance, family, love… and a few dirty diapers”

During the course of the fundraising, Former Power Ranger co-star David Yost offered up this challenge.

So Amy Jo agreed to wear a Pink Power Ranger outfit while playing the guitar in public if the goal is met. On November 4th, the goal was met, and now Amy Jo needed to find a Pink Power Ranger suit.

Amy Jo was contacted by Tamera, The Toronto Pink Ranger who is one of the Toronto’s Power Rangers , and the two discussed and agreed of the loaning of the Pink Power Ranger suit.

Amy Jo met up with the Tamera, tried on the suit, and the date was set for Friday November 7th at 4pm at Yonge and Dundas. The Pink Ranger is ready to Rock and Roll.

The big day arrives and many of her fans showed up to cheer her on, mostly all wearing Pink. Amy Jo played a few of her songs, all with the fear of being thrown off the lot, but the security guard was nice, and let her finish her set. Even co-star Michael Cram showed up to help cheer Amy Jo on.

As an added bonus, she stuck around for over an hour, to meet with fans, autograph items, and take pictures with all of her fans.

Afterwards Amy Jo found out that it’s going to take a lot more money to make her and sent out this message with a Thank you to her fans.
