Wolverine the Musical! Complete with Lyrics.

Just when you thought Hugh Jackman couldn’t possibly be more charming, a YouTube video surfaces called Wolverine the Musical. Yup, the man who plays the world’s most infamous mutant is also a veteran of the stage. Last year he tackled the iconic role of Jean Valjean in the latest movie adaptation of Les Miserables and this year he will host the Tony awards for the fourth time. On a recent visit to the Matt Edmondson Show on BBC Radio, Jackman was a good sport and sang their version of “Who Am I?” with Wolverine-inspired lyrics. You have to see this!

Not only does he rock it without any practice or warm-up, but he is having so much fun! The highlights include the moment he realizes there’s a plug for X-Men: Days of Future Past, his inability to hit the final note, and my personal favourite part, when he yells “this is gonna work!” with a big grin.

After some jokes about his workout regime, and some classic Wolverine poses, it’s pretty much impossible not to smile since the entire concept is hysterical and his grin is contagious. His mutant alter-ego maybe surly and brooding, but Hugh Jackman keeps finding ways to be entirely far too endearing.
