We’ve got the first official Daredevil trailer here!

April 10th really couldn’t come sooner! I’ve been wanting a grittier, darker version of Daredevil since they first hinted at it a few years ago and I’m glad were finally able to pull it off… at least I’m optimistic based on how awesome this trailer looks. And Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin? Badass. Now if I can just get my hands on those advance screeners…

The folks over at the Observer were lucky enough to have had a chance to review the first four episodes, and based on what they’ve said, I couldn’t be more excited to see some of these fight scenes. If it’s anything like what we saw in Captain America: Winter Soldier, then I’m already sold.

I know it’s still early in the year, but I’m calling it now: The most beautifully choreographed fight scenes of 2015 will be on Netflix, courtesy of Marvel’s Daredevil. We’ve seen the first four episodes, and this show is like no other comic book adaption on the small screen yet. The beauty of Netflix is the freedom it allows—Daredevil gets as dark as the source material requires. It’s so dark, it’s almost a better Batman show than Gotham, and that show actually has Batman in it. If nothing else, Daredevil will rule the comic book TV landscape for years to come.

Daredevil comes to us April 10th on Netflix.
