WATCH the First Five-Minutes of How to Train Your Dragon 2

Aaaaaand my morning has been made.

With How to Train Your Dragon 2 set to hit theaters in just a few weeks, Dreamworks Animation has released an exclusive look at the first five minutes of the film.

Now, typically I would refuse to watch any spoilers before a movie is released, but…hey, I’m still a kid at heart and these films instantly turn me into an impatient five year old. Needless to say, watching this clip was well worth it.

“Dragons used to be a bit of a problem, but that was five years ago,” Hiccup, the film’s main character, explains in the opening scenes. “Now they’ve all moved in, and really, why wouldn’t they? We have custom stables, all-you-can-eat feeding stations, a full-service dragon launch, even top-of-the-line fire prevention if I do say so myself.”

This mindblowing video follows just 10 days after DreamWorks unveiled the sequel’s second trailer, which focuses on a Dragon Rider who claims to be Hiccup’s estranged mother.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 features the voice talents of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller, and Kristen Wiig and has moved up from its original June 20th release date to June 13th.
