Daleks, Dinosaurs, and Spaceships…Dinos on a Spaceship? Oh my! Check out the new trailer beyond the jump. GERONIMO
Official BBC America Description:
“Who killed all the Daleks?”
“Who do you think?!”
“We’ll get through this, I promise. Don’t be scared.”
Boasts Amy, “Scared?! Who’s scared? … Geronimo!!”The new season will see the last days of the Ponds, with Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill making their final rollercoaster voyage with The Doctor (Matt Smith). Amy (Karen Gillan) and Rory (Arthur Darvill) have been at the Doctor’s side for more than two seasons but what will he do after their heartbreaking departure?
New guest stars so far confirmed to star will include David Bradley, Rupert Graves and Mark Williams. Season 7 will then see a dramatic turn of events when The Doctor meets a new friend – the recently-announced new companion, played by Jenna-Louse Coleman. Prepare yourselves for thrills, adventures and dramatic surprises as the show builds towards its enormous, climactic 50th anniversary year.
Fourteen big, blockbuster-movie episodes – each a brand new epic adventure featuring new monsters and some familiar foes as you’ve never seen them before.
Well that trailer is absolutely exhilarating and kind of left me in a tizzy of Whovian madness that can only be expressed with run on sentences. From the trailer it appears that season seven will capture the fun adventurous spirit we have seen so far with Matt Smith as Eleven with Amy Pond by his side and will also delve deeper into the darker, angsty side of The Doctor that Smith has given us glimpses of but with a fire we haven’t really seen since the Tennant years. Will we get a Moffet-style timey-whimey rollercoaster? So far Matt Smith has proved himself capable of pulling off anything and everything thrown his way. How dark do you think this season will get with the impending departure of Amy and Rory and the showdown with something like ALL THE DALEKS?
Until then all I’ve got to say is…
Hello Sweetie. But really… give us an air date so we can start the countdown. Cool?
ok i think it’s time i start watching this.
oh man. i envy you. You are going to have an utterly fantastic Marathon if you start watching DW from Season 1-6. I caved after season 4 and by the time I finished I couldn’t possibly wait for Season 5 to end airing.
Much Love to Alex Kingston. Greatest of the companions below Catherine Tate.
