Unplugged Expo is Toronto’s Premier Geek Culture Festival. A 3 day gathering of pop-culture fans held annually since 2012. This event delivers the latest Geek Culture has to offer – comics, anime, gaming, cosplay, sci-fi and much more! Unplugged Expo 2015 will be held at the International Centre – the Greater Toronto Area’s premier conference facility from July 31st – August 2nd.

Real-Life Elsa – Anna Faith Carlson and Lexi Grace Carlson
Unplugged celebrates Frozen the Movie the Canadian way! To help commemorate this event, Unplugged Expo has invited two very special guests. Joining their celebration are “The Frost Sisters” Anna Faith Carlson and Lexi Grace Carlson. These sisters shot to fame when Anna Faith posed next to an in-store display of Elsa from Frozen and was instantly labeled “The Real Life Elsa.” After the picture went viral multiple times, the pair have appeared on Good Morning America, Fox News, TMZ and numerous other TV shows, radio stations and magazines around the world. Anna & Lexie have performed in front of thousands of children all over the world, and often visit sick children in hospitals, schools and participate in fundraisers for charitable organizations. Hotaru Tomoe – Jen Gould
Juno Award winning songwriter and actress Jennifer Gould will thrill her fans when she visits Unplugged Expo. Jennifer will always be remembered as the voice of “Hotaru Tomoe” from the “Sailor Moon” Television Series. Jennifer has never appeared at a public event with fans until now. Kamui Cosplay
International Costuming ambassador Svetlana Quindt also known by her persona “Kamui Cosplay” will make her only Canadian visit in 2015 at Unplugged Expo. Hailing from Germany, Svetlana is a professional costume and prop designer. Since 2003 she has been widely recognized for her armor projects from game franchises such as World of Warcraft, Diablo and Starcraft, and moreover her passion for sharing her self-taught knowledge with the costuming community all over the world. As a ten year veteran of costuming, Svetlana has written numerous step by step instructional blogs, produced video tutorials and has recently authored several costuming books including “The Book of Cosplay Armor Making”, “The Book of Cosplay Painting” and “The Book of Cosplay Lights”, which she will debut for the first time in Canada At Unplugged Expo.
