Tim Burton In Talks To Direct ‘Beetlejuice 2’.
IT’S SHOW TIME.
…almost.
Director Tim Burton is officially in talks to direct a sequel to 1988’s Beetlejuice, a.k.a. one of my favourite films ever, a.k.a. if you’ve never seen it WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?.
Michael Keaton is expected (more like demanded) to reprise is role as The Ghost With The Most, which comes as no surprise, seeing as even Burton himself has said no one could even come close to Keaton’s character. Duh. Thank you.
Additionally, Winona Ryder has also been rumoured to be interested in returning! WOO!
The script has been written by Seth Grahame-Smith, who also write Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Which was also pretty good, so I have faith. So does The Geffen Company, who produced Beetlejuice and will be on board for the sequel as well.
Let’s get this damn thing going already, because the world can never have enough Beetlejuice.
