The ROCCAT Power-Grid gives PC gamers full control
Move over Razer, ROCCAT is marking your territory with their yet to be released Power-Grid that promises to be the most customizable PC gaming application the industry has ever seen and, the only device you need is your smartphone.
Working across all operating systems, the ROCCAT Power-Grid boasts the ability to change and track your computers settings and vital stats with the swipe of a finger, supports facebook, skype, teamspeak, and other voice over IP applications. Build custom grids for any game on any PC and easily share your builds with other Power-Grid users all for the price of free.
ROCCAT will also be releasing several peripherals designed specifically to work with the Power-Grid. The Roccat Phobo keyboard and the Apuri 2.0 charging dock.
I love the concept of this mostly because it’s kind of genius. I like that you have the option of using just the dock if you already have a pimped out gaming keyboard or you game on a notebook like I do.
However, I’m concerned about having to take my eyes off the screen to make sure I’m hitting the right macros. A problem easily solved with my Razer Naga Epic mouse. Another potential issue seems to be the incoming call and text functionality. Great idea in theory but, the last thing I want is to be bothered when I’m in the middle of a raid.
There is no drop date or prices yet but, ROCCAT is still looking for beta testers.
What do you think? Will this be the next must-have gaming app?
