I’d say at least 75% of the television I watch is animated. I love cartoons. They’re are not bound by physics and reality. They’re ever changing and unpredictable. But, the very best cartoons are the hilariously offensive ones.

This is a really good list–glad to see some love for these shows. I have a couple of disagreements (notably, Metalocalypse is kind of shitty, Frisky Dingo never lived up to its potential, and Gervais isn’t funny in that format, although I realize that is just me), but overall, terrific. I did a top 5 best currently on the air, and had Archer and VB on there from this list. Bob’s Burgers might be #6 for me (solely because of H. Jon Benjamin–that’s another show that has yet to hit its stride). Looking forward to reading more of your stuff!
