T-Minus One Month: Record Store Day
It’s almost here! Every year record nerds celebrate the equivalent of Christmas on the 3rd Saturday in April. Let’s hear a big sigh…it’s Record Store Day! This year more than 300 artists are offering new record releases (mostly limited) to fans as a way to help support and promote local, independent record stores. Keep reading past the jump to see what you’ll be running around trying to collect.
Here are some of the highlights, check out the whole list here.

Ok. Where do I begin? Blondie, T Rex, The Clash, The Ramones, Refused, Otis & Aretha…I want them all! What will you be gunning for? Ladies and Gentlemen start your turntables!
I am aiming for Botch – An Anthology of Dead Ends (2002, Hydra Head) and hopefully some Refused if there’s any left over — thanks for posting this!
Glad it was helpful! I’m excited – this year I’ll be spending Record Store Day in L.A. So that’s pretty neat! I’ll be taking lots of pictures in between battling record nerds for some of those super rare releases (like the Refused singles). Good luck and happy shopping/record nerding!
