Steven Spielberg Will Direct Film Adaptation Of ‘Ready Player One’

Steven Spielberg is set to direct the film adaptation of the sci-fi book Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. It’s quite a popular book that takes place in a virtual world and it will be pretty awesome to see how exactly they’ll make this film.

This is also Steven Spielberg’s return to Warner Bros, his last film for them was A.I. Artificial Intelligence which was way back in 2001. From Deadline, the studio’s President of Creative Development and Worldwide Production (Greg Silverman) said, “We are thrilled to welcome Steven back to Warner Bros…We had an historic series of collaborations in the 1980s and 1990s and have wanted to bring him back for years.”
