Steven S. DeKnight Joins Netflix Series, “Marvel’s Daredevil”!

Marvel is really keeping itself busy these days.

Marvel announced Sunday that writer, director and producer Steven S. DeKnight (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel) will join the upcoming Netflix series, Marvel’s Daredevil. He will act as Executive Producer and Showrunner of the new 13-episode series, which is set to premiere on Netflix in 2015.

He is joined by Drew Goddard who is currently writing The Amazing Spider-Man spin-off, The Sinister Six. Goddard was originally hired as Showrunner but decided to step down from the position to focus on the spin-off.

Netflix has also picked up Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage in a massive agreement with Marvel. Daredevil will be the first out of the four to be put into production.
