Space Dandy set to debut in Japan and North America.
Shinichiro Watanabe has been working on something marvelous.
If you were a fan of Cowboy Bebop or Samurai Champloo, then you will want to take a look at his newest creation, Space Dandy. It is the story of Dandy, an alien hunter, canvasing across space in search of unusual life. He’s joined by his robot QT and his cat-like alien, Meow.
The style and music of the show touches on just enough nostalgia from the 1980’s to pull you in, and then keeps you there with their awesome score and stories.
If we go based on his previous track record, Wantanabe has got another anime adventure that will have fans drooling for more.
Space Dandy is scheduled for release in January 2014. It will appear in Japan and dubbed into English for the Adult Swim network at the same time. You can check out the Japanese trailer here.
When Dandy is referred to as, “The best dressed alien hunter in space,” how can you not watch?
It’s not really “everything” it’s 3 things haha. But at least they did mention those things. Hopefully the next film’s core story (STID, at the core, was a decent idea) doesn’t get too drowned out by the lesser parts of the movie.
Actually enjoyed the bra and panties scene as this is something that would happen to Kirk and his reaction was spot on for the character. My daughter and I (lovers of Star Trek and Cumberbatch) laughed our butts off at that scene.
And no one really believed the “oh no he is sooo not Khan, we swear” lines, did they?? All the fans I knew were convinced from day one he was Khan and with every single denial we all just got more sure.
