SAVE ME, BARRY! – Misfits movie ready to go – just needs funding.

Fans have been waiting for this since pretty much day one – the E4 series Misfits has been greenlit to begin filming a full-length feature. There’s just one problem – They can’t afford it. Yet.

“A movie version of Misfits is already written and ready to go,” Misfits writer/creator Howard Overman says. “There are a lot of people interested in funding the project and we’re just waiting for the final funds.”

Uh, yeah….

For those not familiar with the show, Misfits follows a group of teen delinquents doing community service who each acquire superpowers after a strange electrical storm.  The cast has gone through several changes throughout the seasons, being completely replaced by the  5th (and final) season this fall.

“The Movie could be a mix of both the original characters and the new ones – I can’t say more than that!”

Howard continues, much to the delight of the fandom, who are quite torn between the old and new cast. It’s honestly hard to choose. If you’ve seen it, you know.
