Release Dates of Five New Marvel Movies Announced

Marvel’s box office success should leave no doubt that comic fans can expect many more of their favourite characters to hit the big screen. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that Disney recently announced the release dates of five unnamed Marvel films. Of course there is already a solid release plan for five movies through 2017, and they are as follows:

May 1, 2015 Avengers: Age of Ultron

July 17, 2015 Ant Man

May 6, 2016 Captain America 3

July 8, 2016 tbc (potentially Doctor Strange)

May 5, 2017 tbc

The new announcement covers dates all the way through 2019, they are:

July 28, 2017

November 3, 2017

July 6, 2018

November 2, 2018

May 3, 2019

Now we know that at least one of these will be the third Avengers, and there is also be a third Thor movie at some point as well. So what will these other mystery movies be? Is it possible that we might see a Black Widow movie, or maybe Black Panther? I can’t think of anything that would make me as excited as a Ms Marvel movie! There is also the potential for yet another attempt at the Hulk. Only time will tell exactly what Marvel has in mind, although it is likely that some questions will be answered during Comic Con next week. What about it True Believers?
