The Pull List: May 14
It’s never easy to narrow down your pull list, every week we are bombarded with enough new titles to make a person’s head spin. Here are my five picks for this week.
Deadly Hands of Kung Fu #1 (of 4)
The creative team of Mike Benson and Tan Eng Huat are the masterminds behind this story of espionage and kung fu. When Shang Chi’s lover is killed, secrets come to light and he has to be careful that he isn’t next.
Batman Eternal #6
Batman Eternal has been a great approach to the Caped Crusader since it started. It tells Batman’s story from the point of view of the GCPD and Gotham’s villains. In this issue, a new threat is emerging from underneath Arkham Asylum.
Captain Marvel #3
Anyone who is excited about Guardians of the Galaxy pay attention because Carol Danvers is joining the cosmic team as the Avenger’s envoy! And in case you need more reason to read this title, in this issue, she finds herself in the middle of an uprising and is conflicted by the Avenger’s orders.
Superman Doomed #1
Doomsday has some terrifying new abilities and Superman will have to tap into all new levels of power to stop him. This new Superman event promises to change the shape of the New 52 DCU since Superman’s actions will have repercussions for the people he’s sworn to protect.
United States of Murder Inc. #1
