Patton Oswalt Manages To Spoil The Entire Plot Of The New Star Wars Film

Readers beware, spoilers lay ahead!

Tonight’s episode of Parks and Rec features an appearance by noted geek icon Patton Oswalt. His character on the show, in an attempt to filibuster a bill put before the Pawnee city council, goes into an epic tirade that potentially spoils Disney’s big plans for the future of Star Wars.

What’s amazing to note is that this was a single take, completely improvised by Oswalt on the spot. The producers just told him to talk for a couple minutes about whatever was on his mind.

Now it’s still early in pre-production, so some of those details may change, but given Disney’s involvement, you never know how much of Oswalt’s rant may come to pass. Entertainment Weekly even thought that there may be something to all this, so they created a poster to honour the occasion.

Oh, and if you look carefully you can see Star Lord sneaking out of the room during the filibuster. Was he running out to alert his bosses as to the potential leak of information?
