Orphan Black – Third Season Premiere Proves to be a Runaway Success
Orphan Black is a runaway success … and Bell Media’s Space channel has the numbers to prove it.
The data on Season Three premiere was just verified and confirmed to have received almost 700,000 viewers, which earns it the title of the Most-Watched Episode Ever. With these final audience figures from Numeris, Orphan Black drew an audience of 697,000 viewers to Space, Bravo and MTV channels. The combined premiere reached 1.9 million viewers in total.
This Toronto local television feature has emerged as one of the most popular sci-fi shows currently on the market. On English television it has tested as the #1 choice in the age 25 to 54 and ages 18 to 49 demographics.
As a bonus discovery, immediately following the Season Three premiere, the Space insider program Innerspace: After the Black also netted 115,000 viewers who tuned in to the new after-show.
On the next episode of Orphan Black (Formalized, Complex, and Costly), Saturday, May 2 at 9PM ET Leda and Castor are on the search for original clone DNA. Mark and Gracie try to track down new leads on the samples that might free them and Art and Sarah reunite.
