Nintendo E3 Announcements: Digital Event and Live Smash Brothers Tournament
Are you bummed out that you can’t attend E3? Aching to know just what Nintendo has been up to? Worry not fans, because Nintendo has its you covered.
On June 10th Nintendo will be hosting a Digital Event at 9am PST, showcasing their upcoming games including a live 16 player tournament of the latest Super Smash Brothers. I have to say, there really is no better way to see a demo for a game like Smash Brothers. On top of the Digital Event, they will also continue to livestream all game demos on their Twitch account, where you can join in the discussion. Check out Nintendo’s E3 site for details!
Watching people play a game though is not the same as playing the game itself though, and once again Nintendo has got you covered. On June 11th from 4-9pm and June 14th 12-5pm, Nintendo will be hosting a Super Smash Brothers invitational in select Best Buys across Canada where you can get the chance to play the demo for yourself! Not only that, but the first 21 people to be admitted will receive a special edition Super Smash Brothers gold coin. You can see which Best Buy locations are participating here.
