New Television Series Where ‘The Wizard of Oz’ Meets ‘Game of Thrones’
Warner Bros. has a new television series in the works that may bring a new twist to the world of our beloved The Wizard of Oz.
Red Brick Road is currently being put together by concept artists Rob Prior and produced by Mark Wolper, Roy Lee and Adrian Askarieh. It is said be “a continuation of the Wizard of Oz story but told in a Game of Thrones fashion, filled with politics, intrigue and violence.”
This. Looks. Awesome.
In other words, sweet, innocent Dorothy is probably going to be kicking some serious ass.
“I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore.”
Further details have yet to be released, for Warner Bros. is keeping this new project heavily under wraps…for now.
