So about that new lightsaber…

Back in December, a New Teaser for Star Wars Episode VII premiered. One of the biggest controversies to come out from it was the new Sith warrior’s lightsaber, with the dual energy beam crossguard.

People have been freaking out over the crossguard, through Facebook, twitter, and geeky discussions. Some are excited by for it, like Darth Maul’s dual blade from Episode I, but mostly people are against the crossguard, stating theories as to how wrong it is.

A Youtube video surfaced showing how the new Sith lightsaber would actually perform in a mock combat scenario. It was actually really interesting to see certain things, that along with myself, most people may have missed.

I refuse to like/dislike anything about the new movie, until I see it. I’ll be going in with zero expectations, but I already know this, the teaser was better than Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
