New Kick-Ass 2 Trailer!

Ok, who’s excited for the new Kick-Ass 2 movie? I know I sure as hell am! I absolutely loved the first movie (and I say this as a fan of the comic as well) so I’m hoping this will be a hit. Based on what I’ve seen in this trailer, I can already tell I’ll be a fan. Unfortunately I haven’t read the last graphic novel yet so I’m not sure how closely the movie follows the comic. I’ll be sure to pick it up before the movie comes out so I’ll be sure to update you all once I do.

Oh and check out Jim Carrey! I didn’t even recognize him!

Synopsis:

After Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation.

Written and directed Jeff Wadlow and starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Morris Chestnut, John Leguizamo, Donald Faison and Jim Carrey, Kick-Ass 2 hits theaters August 16, 2013.
