New Fringe Teaser Released with New Season 4 Footage #WhereIsPeterBishop

Compared to the first season 4 teaser that gave us all of 10 seconds of confusing footage this new promo is an open book. That being said there isn’t much there, but plenty more to theorize about.

Synopsis: The number 4 and the image from the last teaser is still important. Given the context of the number 4, and the correlation with the seasons the quotes are associated with it appears that is what they represent, I can’t help but think there may be something else to it.  The fuzzy image counts up from 1 to 4 intercut with footage from previous seasons.

1. Peter to Olivia “There are things happening here that I can’t even begin to explain and I’m not going anywhere until I can” (Season 1 Episode 4 “The Arrival”

2. The Observer to Walter “The boy is important, he has to live” (Season 2 Episode 4 “Peter”)

3. Peter to Altlivia “You can’t forget this” (Season 3 Episode 3 “The Plateau”)

Sideways 4. Fade to white, Then the first new footage and audio of season 4. Olivia “We all get really good at pretending that the loneliness isn’t there…and then something comes along to remind us” Fade to Black

The “Where is Peter Bishop” image with the sideways four flashes on the screen intercut with several images of Peter as a child, his grave, and as an adult including images of him about to go into the machine until it settles over a close up. Olivia continues “I know what it’s like to have a hole in my life, It’s been there as long as I can remember”

Watch Fringe return Friday September 23rd at 9pm on FOX and CityTV with “Neither Here Nor There” (previously titled “A Sort of Homecoming”.
