The Nerds Podcast: Captain Marvel
What a great time to be living as a nerd. We are still in the post Fan Expo glow, we hope you all had a great time. We are jumping into Captain Marvel and Ms. Marvel on The Nerds today. We have a new guest, the amazing Hope Nicholson. You may recognize her as one the GeekprOn writers, you may also recognize her for the work she’s done on Nelvana of the Northern Lights or Brok Windsor. Let’s jump in to Captain Marvel. We recorded this before Fan Expo when UFC champion Ronda Rousey stated her interest in playing Carol Danvers for the Captain Marvel movie. After her Reddit AMA, fan art began to fly around the interwebs. It looks like Rousey can match the look, but can she pull off the acting?

After Fan Expo, the Marvel rumour mill has two potential actors being looked at. Emily Blunt’s name has been popping up as a possible Captain Marvel; as well as Rebecca Ferguson for the leader of the Carol Corps.
