More than meets the eye…. EH! TFCON Returns!
Bah-weep-Graaaaagnah wheep ni ni bong…
This weekend is the annual TFCON, the Canadian Transformers convention. TFCON started back in 2002, in a small Hockey arena in Hamilton. Since then it’s grown to be the largest Canadian Transformers event.
This year TFCON has brought back veteran Transformers voice actor Gregg Berger. The voice behind the greatest Dinobot of all time… Grimlock. (as well as Long Haul, Skyfire, and Outback). On Saturday night, “The Cybertronic Spree” will be performing live. You may remember them from Nerd Noise Night last year. Trust me it’s something that you don’t want to miss.
I have been to every single TFCON since 2002, and let me tell you this. There is something for everyone, even if you’re not a TF fan (although it doesn’t hurt to be one). From meeting TF voice actors and artists, to finding that vintage G1 Transformer or other 80’s toy you want from the large dealer’s room, to even customizing your own Transformers and other toys.
Make sure this weekend (July 11-13, 2014), you Transform and roll out to the Delta Meadowvale Hotel and Conference Centre for the 2014 TFCON.
