New Mockingjay Trailer: President Snow is at it Again!

Underneath that pristine surface, it looks like the Capitol is in trouble. After a recent address to the nation of Panem’s people, the President (Donald Sutherland) is back to assert his majesty, with an army of Peacekeepers to emphasize his point. Alongside him are his gilded-cage hostages, Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), now joined by the fierce Joanna (Jena Malone), both of whom risked themselves to ensure Katniss’ escape at the conclusion of Catching Fire.

Snow continues with his not-so-subtle threats towards Katniss, but this time around, the Capitol is not as in control as they’d like to think. During this magnificent speech we get a little interruption from hacker hero Beetee (Jeffrey Wright), letting us know that it’s the rebels whom are really keeping score from their base of operations in the mysterious District 13.

The interior design and fashion sense in these national addresses have a color scheme that matches Snow’s name, but is it really such a good idea with all the bloodshed that’s coming on the horizon?

The games are over, and Panem will go to war with its citizens on November 21st of this year in Mockingjay Part 1. Be sure to get to your nearest cinema to watch the thrilling penultimate film in the Hunger Games series!
