MATT SMITH CONFIRMED FOR FAN EXPO 2014

So Fan Expo has really outdone themselves with a guest. On August 28-31, 2014, Matt Smith aka the 11th Doctor will be making an appearance at the largest Canadian Comic Convention event. When the teaser image was released yesterday morning, Facebook and Twitter exploded with excitement from Toronto residents. (Including myself)

Matt played the 11th incarnation of the Doctor from 2010-2013, and really brought a whole set of new fans to both the show and to him. When he replaced David Tennant, fans were not sure how they would accept him, but after the first year, Matt had his own following. His portrayal of the last of the Time Lords is beyond comparison, and really brought depth to him and the character of the Doctor.

I have met him once, before driving 24 hours straight with friends to New Orleans, and let me tell you, he’s a super awesome nice guy. Make sure you get tickets for Fan Expo and a Photo right away, because the photo ops will sell out.
