Has Marvel Found Their Spider-Man with Asa Butterfield?

Nothing’s set in stone yet but it seems like Asa Butterfield is the top choice to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Spider-Man.

Rumors have been circulating about a shortlist of possible contenders to play Peter Parker including Nat Wolff, Tom Holland, Timothee Chalamet and Liam James.

According to several news outlets, Butterfield is the top choice to join the Marvel ranks. If they choose him or not, Marvel needs to cast Spider-Man soon since he’s set to appear in Captain America: Civil War, a project that will be starting production soon.
