‘Man of Steel’ Reveals General Zod Teaser Video

Le gasp! General Zod has invaded the internets!

Okay, not really, but recently Warner Bros has distributed a new set of promotions for Man of Steel, with static-y billboards and websites featuring transmissions from Zod himself. IWillFindHim.com now has its own static transmission, appearing to be a countdown in Kryptonian numbers.

Creepy.

Last night, this 30-second video was revealed. We can see a glimpse Zod, portrayed by Michael Shannon, as he states the following:

“My name is General Zod. For some time your world has sheltered one of my citizens. I request that you return this individual to my custody. To Kal-El, I say this: surrender within 24 hours or watch this world suffer the consequences.”

So either we hand off Superman by tonight or Earth will experience an apocalypse catered by the one and only General Zod…

…or maybe this means we will be seeing a new trailer?!

One can hope, right?

Either way, this is getting me SUPER fired up for the upcoming Man of Steel film, set to release June 14, 2013.
