Listen to: the ‘Dark Shadows’ Score

Danny Elfman is at it again and has scored Tim Burton’s upcoming film, ‘Dark Shadows.’ That alone isn’t big news, the fact that the entire album is online and available for your listening pleasure is. But be warned, there are spoilers peppered throughout the track listing, like ‘Killing _________’ for example.

Don’t care about a few little giveaways? Yah me neither. I went right over to WaterTower Music to listen. The film promises lots of Burton’s signature gonzo-style humour, but the score is dark and brooding which should provide a striking contrast to the trailer’s upbeat disco-era jams. What do you think?
