San Diego Comic Con released a nearly five-minute long trailer for Kick Ass 2 yesterday. All I can say after watching it is…
Hell-to-the-freaking-yea-yuh.
Our original cast members, Chloe Grace Moretz (Hit Girl) , Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick Ass), and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Red Mist/The Mother Fucker) are back, along with some new faces, including John Leguizamo and, one of my favorite actors of all time, Jim Carrey (who is portraying Colonel Stars and Stripes).
It’s a rare occurrence when a sequel can justify the original film, but I believe Kick Ass 2 will be an exception.
And before anyone states the obvious…we are all aware that Hit Girl has gotten hotter.
Kick Ass 2 hits theaters August 16, 2013 (aka NEXT MONTH)!
