Listen To: Helen Marnie of Ladytron

Helen Marnie, the main vocalist behind Ladytron has pursued an elegant way of producing an album straight from the soul in her debut solo project.

Utilizing incubator tools provided by Pledge Music, Marnie has recently landed in Reykjavik Iceland to set-up a backdrop for  “pristine vocals”, and a lyrically expansive electronic album. Drawing her inspiration fro the “vast, expansive and beautiful landscapes of Iceland”, fans interested in supporting the project have a variety of pledge options including purchasing Marnie’s 1998 Rover Mini Cooper Sport for a mere £5000.  I would imagine you get the album with that too!  Interesting to note the bikini and shoes are already gone! LOL.

I admire the creative way Marnie has used Pledge Music to get support and produce from the heart! In a pre-video (below) we get a glimpse (and listen) of what is looking like a great solo debut.
