Hamilton Comic Con is Coming…
Just when you thought the season was over for geek conventions, we’ve got an up and comer in the Hammer on October 4th from 10am to 6pm. It’s about time we got some geek related Cons going in Steeltown, this looks like it could do well!
Last year was their first event and brought in over 5,000 fans. This year they hope to surpass that. With over 100,000 square feet to work with, they’re off to a running start with guests like Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk) and Julie Newmar (Catwoman) as the big backers.
There will be a HUGE wrestling presence as well. Especially if you are an old school wrestling fan, as they’ll have “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, The Bushwackers, George “The Animal” Steele and The Honky Tonk Man. Oh the memories!!!
Also notable after checking out the schedule this year, if you’re into mechanical builds or costuming, there will be a lot of panels focusing on that, check out their schedule HERE.
Speaking of costuming, there’s also going to be a pretty sweet Cosplay Contest!! With monetary prizes!!! Judging will be done by Destiny Nickelsen and Nicole Marie Jean. Go HERE to find out more details on how to enter.
