This is awesome and definitely how I want to spend my retirement – supin up my scooters – aww yeah.

Great grandfather Brian Vann modified his scooter into a classic Batmobile with top speeds of a whopping 8mph. Whoooaaaa slow down there gramps.

‘People drive past in their cars and stop when they see me, get out, and ask for a photo,’ said the retired construction worker. ‘I feel like a bit of a celebrity. I know how the Beckhams must feel when I go out in my Batmobile. If it brings a smile to people’s faces, then it’s done the job.’

He’s already started on another one too, this time a Thunderbird spaceship! Awesome.
