‘Game of Thrones’ Meets ‘The Princess Bride’ in This Amazing Mashup

The Princess Bride is by far one of my favourite movies of all time. It’s such a perfect spoof to the classic love story and there were so many wonderful lines.

So what happens when you put Game of Thrones and The Princess Bride together?

This. This is what happens.

YouTubers Shawn Kohne and Todd Spence created this wonderful mashup that is both incredibly entertaining and totally plausible. The dialogue between the late-Peter Falk and tiny-fetus-cutie Fred Savage works so well with the scenes from the first four seasons of Game of Thrones.

I mean, if you really think about it, both The Princess Bride and Game of Thrones have a lot in common: both feature fantasy, romance and a few elements of comedy.

Seriously, who wouldn’t laugh at this little shit being slapped around?

Hell, there’s even revenge. The Red Viper (Orberyn Martell) and Inigo Montoya as one? Inconceivable!

While it’s not the Game of Thrones we all know and love, hopefully this mashup will keep the fans at bay until the season 5 premiere on April 12.
