Fred Durst Is A ‘Douchebag’. Wait, We Already Knew That.

Fred Durst is set to produce and star in his own CBS sitcom aptly titled, ‘Douchebag’. The show is going to feature  the Limp Bizkit front-douche as a “rock legend looking for balance between his high-profile lifestyle  and trying to raise a family.”  Turns out Durst has a family in real life but he may have to pull out some serious acting chops if he wants to convince us he’s “high-profile.”

But Durst is no stranger to TV, he’s made guest appearances on shows  ‘Revelations’ and ‘House’ and even provided a cameo in the movie, ‘Zoolander’ with Ben Stiller. Now whether or not Fred can command a TV audience every week is yet to be seen. CBS is currently still looking over the script (written by ‘Mr. Sunshine’s’, Matthew Carlson) and its title is not set in stone (I mean, Douchebag. Really?).

It’s a good thing he’s got this up his sleeve though, because last years’ Limp Bizkit reunion failed to make any noise. I somehow get the feeling that Fred Durst may be more entertaining on a TV screen than on a music album and definitely look forward to finding out.

Will you watch?
