Forget Desolation, It’s Time To Train Your Dragon

Last weekend the world (or at least the movie going populous) got to see the dragon Smaug. Today, Dreamworks and Twentieth Century Fox builds on the dragon love by releasing the trailer to the 3D sequel “How to Train Your Dragon 2“.

A more grown up Hiccup & (not so) Toothless

Continuing the adventures of Hiccup and Toothless, the film’s set five years after the first one. In the first film Hiccup and Toothless formed their partnership and showed the Viking village on the island of Berk that old ways of thinking could be changed and that different wasn’t bad, and that his Chieftain dad could be proud of a non-traditional warrior. Hiccup used science to help Toothless fly, and in the second film they both use prosthetics which enables them to explore their world and, as shown in the trailer, both of them get to fly!

Most of the voice cast has returned including Jay Baruchel as Hiccup, Gerald Butler as Hiccup’s father Stoick, America Ferrera as Astrid, and Cate Blanchette as Valka. And, as the trailer shows, the animators are on top of their game. What adventures will these two get up to? And who is the mystery woman? Does it matter? Get ready to strap into your flight harness because on June 13, 2014 you too can learn “How to Train Your Dragon 2”.
