First Look & On Set: The Walking Dead Season 2

AMC’s smash hit, The Walking Dead is back in production after a first season full of amazing blood, gore and clunky dialogue the dead have risen once again.The first gory details have begun to leak from set, including the below picture taken straight from filming.

In a release from AMC, The Walking Dead show-runner Frank Darabont reflected from the set on how it feels to be back amongst the living dead. “At this moment, I’m standing on a stretch of post-apocalypse interstate in Georgia, littered with abandoned cars and blessing my good luck to be reunited with our amazing cast, and our fantastic directors and crew. Across the board, there are none better. It’s great to be shooting again. I think we’ve embarked on a great season.”

Darabont also notes that readers of Robert Kirkland’s graphic novels may have some idea of what’s to come in Season Two, but notes that the TV series does veer from the source material becoming it’s own on screen entity.
