First Look at Batroc in new Captain America Trailer!

Fair warning, if you’ve never read the Captain America: The Winter Soldier story line, it is safe to keep reading.  I haven’t included any spoilers that aren’t in the trailer, but don’t go Google-ing anything I reference, it’ll just spoil things for you. If you have read the comics, can we please freak out about this together?

Captain America: The Winter Soldier comes out on April 4^th, and Marvel won’t let their fans forget it. They have been dropping little bits of the movie like breadcrumbs leading to its debut, and excitement is mounting. Along with the epic hero poster, an extended preview that aired before The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and an action-filled TV spot, Marvel has just released a new trailer that gives fans their first look at Batroc, the Leaper! Yes, you have to watch it now.

We may not get to see Batroc really do anything in this trailer but you know that because he’s played by former UFC champion Georges St-Pierre, when he does get into the action, it’s gonna be good! Plus there’s the excitement of seeing Anthony Mackie’s Falcon in action along with several other little Easter eggs (did anyone else catch the Cap dropping Rumlow’s name? or Agent Sitwell amongst the hostages?) and that mysterious body bag. Overall, this trailer reveals just how much potential for awesomeness Captain America: The Winter Soldier has. And yes, it’s ok to watch the trailer again. In fact, I encourage it!
