First Look at the Avengers 2 Set!

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for; our first peek at the set of Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. There are stills leaking all over of Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and even the legendary villain Ultron. There are even videos out there that show some of the practical effects. Trucks explode and extras run screaming from an invisible threat that will conceivably be added digitally later.

But never mind that right now. More importantly, as the highly anticipated Avengers 2 starts to film, bystanders are there to capture and share the first images of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, the controversial characters who will also appear in X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Here are the first snapshots of the Avengers 2 version of Quicksilver. He’s appropriately dressed and ready to run.

The images of Scarlet Witch look just like the concept art Marvel recently released. Personally, I really like her look, she looks like a woman that you should not mess with.

Especially in this still. This is a woman who has powers and isn’t afraid to use them.

And possibly the most exciting leak; here is our first look at Ultron! Granted, Ultron is likely to be mostly computer generated, but this gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect.  Or at least it’s a good idea of what the actors will be looking at over the next few months as a reference point (it sure beats a bag on a stick).

Avengers 2: Age of Ultron will release on May 1, 2015, but fans will no doubt be treated to many more sneak peeks before then. Excited yet?
