February 3rd: The Superbowl of Movie Trailers
The TVg33K side of me was not looking forward to another Sunday night without Once Upon a Time but the movie nerd side of me was very excited for this evening and the entertainment that would be provided in between the game time “action” or in my case, mostly on twitter and the rest of internet.
This year’s Super Bowl ad breaks featured some major trailers for some highly anticipated, geeky flicks including big showings from Iron Man 3, Star Trek: Into Darkness, World War Z, and Oz: The Great and Powerful.
We’ve gathered all the trailers right here for your enjoyment! All four of these share the common thread of containing at least one flight related disaster. Any more shared themes? Point ’em out in the comments!

If you haven’t caught the Benedict bug yet. This new trailer features Mr. Cumberbatch in a still unnamed role finding himself on the upper-hand of this saucy exchange with Chris Pine’s Kirk.

Oz: The Great and Powerful: Game Spot
Featuring the big switch from b&w to very vibrant colours, lots of big CGI and a stoned looking James Franco. Snark aside, I am totally going to see this – more Michelle Williams & Mila Kunis please!
