Dramatic Whispering: A Look at James Franco’s Signature Move
The always amazing Vulture put together a video showcasing all of James Franco’s major (and not so major) works. All his roles have one thing in common, dramatic whispering, all the time, and often with no reason for the hushed tones except that he’s James Franco. An acting technique that can be used and adapted to practically any role and situation thrown at him. He even used it while hosting the Oscars which was maybe not the wisest choice, and that performance is not included in the video, thank goodness.
I love James Franco and will gladly watch him whisper in anything, possibly including his guest starring role on General Hospital as the insane artist Franco.
