D&D Podcast Season II: Rise of Tiamat part 12

On the Ethics of Genies

It is a perilous time for Tarek and the Head Smashers as they navigate the dungeon in Xonthal’s Tower.  It is almost Whovian the mental traps and puzzles that lay in the depths of a wizard’s tower.  After dealing with the Soul Trap Mirror and navigating the Cosmic Stairway, the group is trying to find Iskender.  They defeated Jorgen Prawl, the Blue Wyrmspeaker; as a result, they removed another key player for the Cult of the Dragon.

This is more Tower left to explore, and the group is taking their bumps and bruises along the way.  It seems that Xonthal is a real A-hole.  Will his puzzles be worth acquiring the Blue Dragon Mask?  The real question is:  Can they find their way out of the maze?  It was tough going in, will it be just as tough coming out?

There is a lot of planning to do and time is of the essence.  This delve has cost them time, but will that play a factor against the Cult?  Maybe a conversation with a genie will help find some short cuts to their goal?  What will it cost to do business with a genie?

What is the toughest dungeon you fought through?  Which NPC left the biggest impression on you?  Why do wizards towers always have to be full of tricks and illusions?  Let us know in the comments below.

We hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.  The end of the season is coming; there are five episodes left.  If you have missed any, you can check out the collection of D&D Podcasts here.
