This fall hard rock band Deftones are going to release a box set that will blow your mind and your stereos; that is as long as you have a turntable or two. Numbered and VERY limited (keep reading past the jump to find out just how limited), Deftones: The Vinyl Collection, 1995-2011 is a seven album (8 LP) retrospective containing the band’s six studio albums and the limited edition 2011 Record Store Day release Covers.

Ok music nerds, here are the deets. Each album is being exclusively recut from the original master recordings and repressed on 180-gram European virgin vinyl. Each set has a unique lithograph and cover art, and for you real geeks out there (myself included) here’s the real kicker: each set comes packaged in a hand numbered collector’s box which is limited to 1000 copies only. 1000 c0pies. No joke. There will only be 1000 ever of all time in the whole wide world. Daaaaaamn.
