Assassin’s Creed Unity Trailer
It is that time of year again. As the convention schedule winds up, so does the hype for new games. Ubisoft helped cut the path this year when they released the teaser for Assassin’s Creed Unity. There has been a lot speculation on the location of the next Assassin’s Creed title. AC4 left some easter eggs hinting at possible historical hotspots. They ranged anywhere from ancient Egypt, to feudal Japan. However, one item on the list was accurate, Ubisoft hinted at another revolutionary setting.
Assassin’s Creed Unity will take place in France during the French Revolution. This leaves an opening for a continuation of the previous Assassin’s Creed games. Who will the new assassin be? Will they link the story lines between Connor/Edward and Aveline? How many guillotine assassin animations will there be?
The latest installment will be for the next gen consoles only (Xbox One and PS4.) However, there will be a separate game for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Assassin’s Creed Comet will be released for the older consoles, though the content and characters have yet to be confirmed.
Unity is scheduled for release during the holidays of 2014.
With Assassin’s Creed Unity planned for the end of the year, it’s looking like 2014 will be a great year for gaming.
