A Dalek builds a TARDIS?!
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last couple of years, you must’ve noticed that Doctor Who fans have taken the world by storm. In Toronto, there has been an ever building presence of Daleks sneaking in and no one seems to notice the danger we really are in!!
In addition to the attempt to break the Guinness World Record for Largest Gathering of Daleks held at Fan Expo this year, one of our local Daleks, Dalek Dreadnaught, is building a TARDIS to be premiered at Fan Expo as well!
Here’s the problem… Dalek Dreadnaught has been spreading himself a little too thin as he’s been paying out of pocket for the TARDIS build so far and really needs some help or it won’t premier at Fan Expo at ALL!
The TARDIS will be a primary tool for use with professional photos and all profit will be going to Sick Kids Hospital, little in life is as important as saving the life of a child. This will be a full size 1964 model TARDIS weighing several hundred pounds and will be used at all Doctor Who Society of Canada events to raise funds.
He is asking fans to help raise about half of the total cost of the build and has until Wednesday of this week to get it finished for Fan Expo.
