Watch Radiohead Perform On SNL

The season premiere of Saturday Night Live had musical guests Radiohead on for the first time in eleven years. Radiohead performed the track ‘Lotus Flower’ from their mostly forgettable 2011 release, King Of Limbs as well as a song called, ‘Staircase’ which was created for the performance series From the Basement.

I know R.E.M. just called it quits but does Thom Yorke really need to pick up where Michael Stipe leaves off with the awkward running on the spot dance? I guess they are freaking Radiohead so they have grounds to pretty much do whatever they want and they know it. The thing is, no matter what this band does I will always know a large number of people who will swear it is pure genius so maybe I’m just missing something here.
