Anime North 2014: Friday Cosplay Gallery
The best thing about Anime North 2014 is that it’s really not that difficult to get lots of photos of amazing cosplays.
The event is populated in the tens of thousands, with a huge percentage that put blood, sweat and tears into beautiful costumes. The other bonus being that on Friday, we’re all still fresh, energized and likely haven’t encountered any wardrobe malfunctions yet.
The sheer talent and enthusiasm of cosplayers all over the world has sky-rocketed, and the Canadian scene is no exception. I was simply overwhelmed by how many eye-catching costumes were on display today and felt very humbled and privileged as always to walk among so many passionate fans and take pictures of their stellar outfits. With so many gorgeous cosplay creations every time I turned my head, I truly do feel as though the work is done for me when it comes to looking for great work to photograph.

Remember folks, if you see a cosplay you love, don’t be shy to take a photo. (Just remember to ask first!) A little bit of love goes a very long way.
