Let’s recap the 2014 Oscars shall we?

I’m gonna be super honest here, the 2014 Oscars were kind of a snooze fest. I don’t know if James Franco passed a joint around to everyone before they went on to present but it seemed like they were just glazed out and mumbling the words they thought they were reading on the prompter. I had to keep myself awake for most of the show since it played 456, 253 montages throughout the night (not an accurate number, obviously).

Aside from those, Ellen Degeneres did a great job as host this year and I’m happy she came back. She even ordered pizza for everyone.

I feel ya, Kerry.

Some other highlights of the night included the introduction of my new ship: Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emma Watson:

Speaking of selfies, my soulmate/love of my life/sun and stars/father of my future children Benedict Cumberbatch photobombed a few pictures solidifying him as the cutest person ever and creating a new meme for Sherlockians and Cumberbabes in the process.
